![]() ![]() The most surprising joke in the show to me was the "Lion King 2 1/2: Simba's a Lawyer Now" just because I'm surprised they were actually able to say "The Lion King" and "Simba". ![]() The parents are a good mix of typical sitcom parents and the obliviousness of Timmy's parentsĮdit for one thing I forgot: It's also really rare and refreshing to see a step sibling sitcom relationship that doesn't have any element of jealousy at all The new theme is a nice alteration of the original and I really love the exterior shots that turn from a drawing to live action shot. That means there has to be enough of a budget for all the live action as well. but remember this is on the budget of a basically experimental kids streaming sitcom. Despite it being a live action sitcom, it's still a cartoon world so the cartoon logic of the original is still here 'The Fairly OddParents' and 'Wheres the Wand' appeared on the Schools Out: The Musical DVD. Nine of these Oh Yeah Cartoons shorts were aired as three episodes in the first season of The Fairly OddParents, but Nickelodeon has stopped airing these. The show is over the top, but the way the show is framed is that it's totally on purpose. The following is a listing of The Fairly OddParents shorts that originally aired as part of episodes of Oh Yeah Cartoons. Internet" and "What could possibly go wrong" are the most obvious ones I've noticed so far. I've loved the references to the original, even bringing back some of the original jokes, but not often enough that it gets annoying. It's just a fun silly show that doesn't have to take itself seriously. I'm on E8 now and am personally really enjoying it right now. ![]()
